Wild thoughts often come after midnight.
Yes, it has been a while since my last post and a lot have changed since then.
Instead of putting up something emo (which is what I used to do in the past), I'd like to take this opportunity to thank a few friends who have been my super strong support squad since 2017.
We met each other at work.
Though we are in the same team we weren't really that close to each other at first. But then I kinda lost track since when our relationship evolve from colleagues to BFF.
I remember how these girls threw me a little surprise party in the office during my 30th birthday.
Then we started to celebrate each other's birthday and hang out more often.
When hanging out in some cafe is no longer enough, we started to plan some small activities / trips together.
I still couldn't get over all those funny moments from our first trip to KL.
We all did something embarrassing but that doesn't seem to stop us from hanging out together. In fact we plan more trips and activities like we have not seen each other enough during office hours.
We make fun of each other most of the time yet deep down we care.
During the past year, they've been one my strongest support squad to hold me through ups and downs.
From how we support each other at work, we are now supporting each other in life.
Though we have only known each other not so long ago, I'm just grateful that this turns out to be something beautiful.
They say true friends are hard to get. But for me, I have a hand full of them or even more. Some of them have even been with me for more than 20 years.
From primary schoolmates to those I met at work, it seems like I somehow got to make a few true friends from every single stage of my life.
Consider me as the luckiest person on earth 😆
