Phew~ Finally got the time to sit down and blog XD
I've been busy these few days. Well not busy about my job or assignments, but wedding dinners!! Most of the girls my age are ready to settle down with a husband, and some with a child as well. I got "bombs" coming right after me until next year. To be exact, until end of next year. Luckily I got myself a part time job to cover some of the expenses, LOL.
Back to these few days. I've been attending dinners with the same group of friends. We used to work in the same company (Imperial Garments, or in short IG) for a few years but separated after. Yet some of us still keep in touch close enough to form a sisterhood.
Last week, it was one of friends wedding dinner - Hazel. She's one gorgeous bomb! Always manage to turn a few heads while she hung out with us in a club. She left IG much more earlier than the rest of us in the sisterhood. Went to another state and seems like doing pretty good.
She called me up earlier this year to offer me a chance to work with her but I rejected. Then she booked my date for her wedding dinner and to be one of her sisters on her wedding day. Unfortunately I had to work on that day so I can only attend her dinner.
I haven't seen her in years and yet she still look gorgeous as before. Nothing describe her happiness more than the smile on her face =)
That was last week. And tonight it is time to celebrate the happiness of one of the members in our sisterhood - Yu. Just like Hazel, we used to work in IG for a few years. She left the company just 1 or 2 years ago to start a new life with her boyfriend Harry. We met her boyfriend last year during our trip to Bali (You may refer to the photos I posted in Bali Diary. He was the only guy XD). Though we did not have really good impression on him but still, he's the one she has chosen so we give her our support as well.
It's kinda sad cuz we cannot make it to Johor for her wedding day due to work. But we're glad to see her tonight. Though it wasn't a big dinner like those I used to attend, but I think it was very heart warming. Just a couple of friends and family gathered around to celebrate the most important moment.
I had a great time tonight catching up with some of the ex-colleagues. It makes you realize how far you've come through since you left the company. Bring back some good old memories. It is details like this that makes a wedding dinner memorable enough.
Well, that's it for tonight. To all the lovely couples out there reading this, I wish you all happiness and love. Just like I wish for my friends Hazel & Yu. Blessings and good night <3
