Having
Monday blues? Well, that’s normal. My guess is everybody has it too. Those 2
short days of break during weekends certainly doesn't seem enough for us to
re-charge for Monday.
The
fact is, we still have to go to work on Mondays no matter how unwilling we are. Instead
of complaining, why don’t figure out some ways to turn blue into some other
colours during your working hours on Monday.
1.) Good coffee (this is for
coffee lovers). It’s like we cannot live without caffeine these days. Kick
start your Mondays with a cup of good coffee. The caffeine might not cope with
you the whole day, but it certainly gives you a fresh start.
2.) Put on some fresh colours. Give those
boring colours a twist. Instead of wearing black suit, try bolder colour; instead
of the same colours on your make-up and lipstick, try some other colours, lighter
or darker. Get your nails done during the weekends, and go to work with super
colourful nails (it’s gonna look good on the keyboard you’re typing).
3.) Refresh the music in your iPod. Take some time
during weekends and adjust the playlist in your iPod. Put in some fresh beats
(especially those hippy ones) so that you got something fresh pour into your ears when you need it.
4.) Share your colleague’s
weekend. Talk to your colleagues about your weekends, ask him or her how’s
their weekends. Sharing happy thoughts is one of the best ways to break your
blues. Who knows it might give you some new ideas on what to do this coming
weekend.
