10-Dec-2011, I will never ever forget this day.
After a few months of waiting, finally this day arrived. Jacky Cheung's 1/2 century World Tour concert here, in Malaysia, Bukit Jalil Satdium.
I went with my cousins, together with a group of Jacky's fans (Joey, Nicky, Joanne....). When we reached the stadium at 6 something in the evening, already there were a lot of people waiting in the line, young and old. Finally, we entered the stadium at 7.30pm.
Me and my cousins sat at the highest end of the stadium. The stage looked super small from our view, but luckily we can still see the whole stage coz our seats are located at the center left of the stadium.
8.20pm, the co-ordinator of the concert went up stage, shocked us with this" Jacky isn't feeling so well today, so we suggest that you all keep your tickets well, just incase." What the heck, I almost fainted.... Then there came Jacky, the crowd went wild. He told us that he really wasn't feeling well, and he just took medicine at 5 something in the evening. But he told us he will still try his best to perform, and hope that we can understand if he need to stop.
8.30pm, Jacky appeared on stage, started the concert with tip-tap dance. His performance that night, was over the edge. Though he was sick, he can still sang without losing a single note, and danced as well as other dancers. Concert ended at 11.30pm. Crowd shouted for encore once, but he didn't showed up. Guess he was really tired and need to rest =p
This blog is kinda short to talk about Jacky's concert, but those details are really hard to put into words. I cried when he sang 你的名字我的姓氏, I thought about my long time friend when he sang 心 如刀割. His songs accompany for all these years, new or old. I will bring this memory with me for a very very long time, and I will make sure that I get the front seats next time he come for another concert, or if I can afford, I will even fly myself to HK for his concert.. LOL~
Jacky Cheung, you are a professional artist and the best singer ever, and I believe it is hard to find someone to replace you, at least it is hard to find some other singers to replace you in my heart. Love you and looking forward to your next concert <3
